WAWOS Canada is committed to disrupting the narrative around disability. We believe that all children should be seen as the dynamic and exceptional beings they are. Our flagship program, WAWOS Wear, is a truly unique way for a child who uses assistive devices, to express their spirit and individuality. Volunteer-made walkercapes in a variety of styles and themes are delivered to pediatric therapy practices, rehab hospitals and directly to families for free.
The goal of this program is to have children with physical disabilities be seen beyond their diagnosis. We want to give more than just a walkercape. We want to create community, connection and conversation. Thank you for joining our inclusion revolution!
