Start:
You must be at the race assembly at the Awa Awa Rata Reserve in the starting shoot at 7:40am for Race Briefing, after Race Briefing, we will assemble for a quick start with fastest runners at the front and slowest at the back. Start will be at 8:00am for the 25km and 8:20am for the 12km.
While the event takes place on public trails and a private road, normal road rules apply while running. Keep left and give way to vehicles using the road.
While the traffic management plan and/or restrictions are in force throughout the course, competitors must at all times assume that all roads are open to traffic in all directions. You must obey all road rules, marshals are on the course to direct you. YOU MUST ABIDE BY THE ROAD RULES AT ALL TIMES - DO NOT CROSS THE CENTER LINE AT ANY STAGE OF THE EVENT.
Parking:
Competitors cars can be on the side of the road on Mclennans Bush Road unless instructed otherwise. There is no parking i the Awa Awa Rata Reserves for the event.
The Finish
The finish line will be in the Awa Awa Rata Reserve and Prize Giving will be held here as well.
