Get ready to conquer the Urban Cow Half Marathon with Fleet Feet! Whether you’re tackling your first half marathon or aiming for a PR, we’re here to help you achieve your goals.
This 8-week training program includes coach-led in-person running workouts for speed on Wednesdays and coach-led long runs for endurance on Saturdays or Sundays (your choice).
No matter your experience level, you'll receive expert coaching to help you train smart, stay motivated, and reach your race day goals!

Training Plan
Your training plan will provide daily assignments for running/walking, cross training, strength work, and recovery. The plan is periodized to gradually increase overall training volume while offering opportunities for your body to build back stronger, week after week.
Coaching
Fleet Feet's team of experienced coaches will keep track of your progress, keep you motivated, and give you individualized feedback at every practice. Reach out to the Fleet Feet Training help desk at any time by emailing sactraining@fleetfeet.com.
Community
The camaraderie of training with a group week after week will take your training to the next level. When the training gets more rigorous, you'll have the collective strength of the group to keep you moving forward. When you crush a key workout, the group will be there to celebrate your achievement.
Days, Times, and Locations
Sacramento
Choose between 5:45 AM and 6:00 PM on Wednesdays. Choose between Saturdays or Sundays at 7:00 AM.
Most runs take place in Land Park or along the American River Parkway.
Davis
Wednesdays at 6:00 PM and Saturdays at 7:00 AM. Most runs start at Fleet Feet Davis or local parks.
Elk Grove
Wednesdays at 6:00 PM and Saturdays at 7:00 AM. Most runs start at Fleet Feet Elk Grove or local parks.
Switch between days, times, and locations whenever you want.
Registration Details
Training fee does not include any race entry fee.
Dogs are prohibited at group training runs.
