Join us for the fifth annual Dog Jog at McAlpine Creek Park!
Whether you have a furry friend or not, Charlotte’s Dog Jog offers something for everyone. Our 5K run takes place on one of the most famous cross-country courses in the Southeastern United States and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels!
Event Highlights
- A Famous Cross-Country Course: Test your speed on the Larry McAfee Course At McAlpine Park, ideal for both competitive runners and casual joggers.
- Adoptable Dogs On-Site: Looking to add a new member to your family? Meet lovable pups ready to find their forever homes.
- Delicious Treats: Enjoy a morning filled with coffee and doughnuts to fuel your jog or walk.
- Prize Purse: The top three finishers in the 5K race—both in the dog and no-dog categories—will win cash prizes! First place receives $125, second place $75, and third place $50.
- Community Fun: Connect with fellow dog lovers, as well as local organizations and businesses in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

This includes a bib, timing chip, and race packet for 1 human. To ensure your pup(s) gets a bib and pup packet, please indicate if you're running with a pup and how many.
