The T9 Mermaid Tri & Du Capitola is one of the best all women triathlons on the West Coast. Capitola offers an ocean swim around the wharf, views of the Pacific Ocean, fun bike course featuring a gradual climb into the coastal redwoods, followed by a run on the ocean bluff overlooking Capitola Village.
Triathlon and Duathlon participants receive a stylish women's cut shirt, custom finisher's necklace, and post race food.

Mermaid Dash Closed
Our Mermaid Dash, an untimed 1 mile beach dash for ages 6-12 years old, encourages young mermaid athletes to run along the beach for 2 loops and finish on the same finish line as our other mermaid athletes. Entry fee does not include an event shirt.
