There are more than 65,500 food insecure individuals in DuPage County, almost half of which do not qualify for government assistance. Please join us in this chip-timed, family-friendly 5K run/walk to feed our hungry neighbors!
Since 1999, Neighborhood Food Pantries has provided food security to our neighbors in need, as well as monetary assistance for housing, utilities, medical care/prescriptions, etc. Funds raised from this 5K event will be used to help us reach our 2019 goal to provide over 2 million meals!
NOTE: No Shopping Carts will be harmed during this event. Shopping Carts are for display purposes only and not allowed on the course!

USATF Certified Course
The USATF 5k course winds through beautiful Mallard Lake Forest Preserve.
Event Details
Registration and race start / finish: Mallard Lake Forest Preserve,Hanover Park, IL
Participant medals will be given to all who finish the event.
The top 3 overall male and female runners will receive a medal.
The top runners in each bracket will receive an award (overall winners are not eligible for age group medals):
13 & under
14 - 19
20 - 29
30 - 39
40 - 49
50 - 59
60 - 69
70 & over
Race entry includes: bib, T-shirt, participant medal and a post race snack for all runners!
Register as a team and recruit your friends, colleagues and family members to join you! (all team members receive a $5 registration discount!)
Kids ages 2 - 10 can participate in a 500M "Express Lane Kids Dash" before the race, and the registration fee for ages 6+ includes a T-shirt.
The top 3 overall finishers will receive ribbons.
COME IN COSTUME!!! The top three finishers in a food-related costume will receive an award!
