Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, the Hanover Township Food Pantry has a critical shortage of food this year. We are still planning to hold our 7th Annual event but we have converted it to a Virtual 5K Run / Walk which allows you to participate any time now extended thru October 31st.

Donations can be allocated to Individuals or Teams
We will Recognize our Top Producing Teams & Individuals
You can follow our USATF Certified course or one of your choosing, including your treadmill. You decide if you want medals & T-shirts, or if you want to just run for fun to help our neighbors in need during this ongoing pandemic crisis.
Don't want to run or walk? We will happily accept your donations as well. Hanover Township Food Pantry counts on the thousands of dollars we donate to them each year from this event, so we hope you will consider helping us meet our goals. Thank you in advance for your participation.

Details on the Virtual Run
How does a virtual event work?
- Run a 5K any time between now and October 2nd noon
- Walk (5k or less) any time between now and October 2nd noon
- Capture your results using your phone or manual entry (details below)
- Choose your route: take to the treadmill, run in your neighborhood, or follow the suggested course map -- feel free to run a loop beginning at any point and proceeding in either direction.
- Share photos on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using our special hashtag #KnightsChallenge5k2020. Join our 5k Facebook group to connect with other participants.
- No water stop, refreshments, or traffic control will be provided.
- All participants (with optional swag) will receive T-shirt, Participation Ribbon, and be eligible for Medal awards.
- T-shirts, ribbons, and awards can be picked up at St. John the Evangelist Church on October 3.
- Out of area participants welcome – your packet will be mailed to you after the race.
- Additional Awards will be given for most creative social media posts.
Knights Challenge Virtual Run has partnered with Race Roster and the ASICS Runkeeper™ app to bring you the best virtual race experience!
Follow these easy steps to prepare for your tracking:
TRACKING STEPS 1. Download the ASICS Runkeeper™ app to your phone and create an account or scroll down to log into an existing account Once you have completed your 5k distance in the app, save your workout and it will automatically post to Race Roster results. (This step must be followed from your mobile device) |
VIEWING AND POSTING MANUAL RESULTS If you plan to record using another software or tracking device or post manually from what is recorded on your watch, simply head here and "Submit Virtual Result" between July 15 and July 29, 2020. |
FAQS:
- To record with tracking on the ASICS Runkeeper™ app, you will need to run or walk with your phone or with a connected wearable (see instructions below)
- You do not have to track with these technologies, it is optional!
