The ultimate California International Marathon training experience!
Fleet Feet training for the California International Marathon is designed to guide athletes of all levels to the finish line of their marathon journey.
Program Dates
August 1 - December 4, 2022
All participants receive 18-week training plans designed for three different goals: Finish, Improve, and Perform. Choose which plan is right for you, and switch between schedules as needed.
Whether you're training in person or online, you will work directly with experienced Fleet Feet coaches from your first mile to the start line in December.
In addition to coaching, you have access to live-streamed interactive programming specific to marathon training at all levels. Zoom workshops held weekly led by experts on topics such as strength training, injury prevention, running technique, fueling and hydration, etc. You also have access to CIM University, a monthly seminar series on CIM-related topics.
In-Person Training
Meet up with a training group twice per week—a weekday speed workout, and a weekend long run. Fleet Feet coaches will lead you through every group training run and provide individualized feedback every step of the way. The camaraderie of the training group will take your training to the next level. In-person trainees receive all Premium amenities throughout the program and on race weekend, including a private start line shuttle and warming tent. Scroll down to read more about the VIP experience.
New in 2022: Add online coaching to your in-person training! Your plan will be tailored to your marathon goals and fitness level by a certified coach. You'll receive daily feedback on your activities and access to your coach 24/7 via the TrainingPeaks app.
Online Training
Sign up to receive personalized coaching, online workshops, and optional VIP perks on race day. Choose between three ability-based training plans for your fitness and goals, and get motivation, accountability, and support from a certified coach during your training via the TrainingPeaks app.
Online trainees have 24/7 access to Fleet Feet coaches and the Fleet Feet Training support team.
