Stair Heroes is a unique, stair climb in support of lung health.
Together we will STEP-UP for the 1 in 5 Nova Scotians and Islanders living with lung disease and raise critical awareness and funds for the Lung Association of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island
Our hero theme is based on our partnership with Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency Services.
Our community heroes will be joining us and climbing the 36 flight stairwell in full duty gear at Scotia Square to show their support of lung health!
You are invited to join us in this fun stair climb event! Whether you're a first-time climber, or seasoned pro, we encourage you to come out, have fun, and support lung health in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

We encourage everyone to register and participate (early bird registration fee of $25 until December 31, 2022) and to help raise critical donations and awareness for lung health.
Anyone under the age of 18 will require a legal guardian to sign their waiver.
There will be one main event for the public. We will also have special challenge waves for emergency services personnel, gyms, and political leaders. There is also a special category for our firefighters, who will be making the climb in full gear!
If you still want to support our event but cannot attend in person you will have an opportunity to make an honorary donation.
You can register as an individual or a team. Dress up in your team colours, wear uniforms, office T’s, or in honor of someone you know living with lung disease…. Whatever you choose. An award will be given to the team with the most spirit!
Registration fee includes; a participation medal, swag bag, light refreshments and entertainment for the entire family. Scotia Square will be bustling with family activities, music and special guests.
All participants will receive a unique URL that you can use to raise pledges easily; share to your social media, email colleagues, friends, it’s that easy! You can personalize your fundraising page with a photo and a personal story.
Our goal is that each participant has fun and does their absolute best to raise an average of $200 in pledges.
