2022 Wauconda Turkey Trot

12th Annual 4 mile OR 2 mile fun run/walk

Join in for the 12th Annual Wauconda Turkey Trot!

Star Charities is excited to announce the 2022 Wauconda Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Morning, Thursday, November 24th at 9:00am on Main Street in Wauconda!

EVENT DETAILS:

Participants can register for the 4 mile chip timed run around Bangs Lake or the 2 mile fun run/walk down Main Street. Participants will receive a t-shirt and race bib. Tees race bibs can be picked up from the lower level of Main Street Center (118 S. Main Street, Wauconda) on Tuesday (11/22) & Wednesday (11/23) from 5-7pm or Thursday morning starting at 7:30am.


There is early bird pricing for those registering by November 1st! In addition, for families with children who just want to walk the 2 mile route with their parents, we have added a children's rate.


Once online registration closes (the day before the event) participants can register in person at Main Street Center (118 S. Main Street, Wauconda) on race day Thursday, starting at 7:30am.

All the proceeds from this event will benefit the Wauconda/Island Lake Food Pantry. Star Charities has raised over $150,000 for the food pantry from the past 11 years’ events!


Get your running gear on, or some silly turkey attire, and enjoy Thanksgiving with us! All participants will receive a tee shirt, finisher's medal and there will be snacks after the race. Trophies will be awarded to the fastest 4 mile runners in each age category, as well as for "Most Turkey Trot Spirit" and "Best Costume"
