New This Year: 1 Mile Run/Walk
The 5K & 1M Run/Walk will start at 8:30 AM.
- Registration on race morning will start at 7:30 AM.
- Course is USATF Certified.
- Awards (5K Only) go to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in the 5-year age groups: 14 & under up through 70 & over.
- In addition, the top overall male and female will receive a special award.
- T-shirts to all pre-registered participants.

We cordially invite you to participate as a Sponsor of the Knights Challenge 5K Run / Walk / Kids Dash. This event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council #12801, in cooperation with Saint John the Evangelist Parish in Streamwood, and has been organized as a fundraiser for the Hanover Township Food Pantry.
On June 3, 2023, beginning at 8:30 a.m., the 5K run and walk will kick off at Saint John the Evangelist Parish Campus. Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finisher and to the top three male and female finishers in each five-year age group.
Your sponsorship helps to defray the cost of organizing and hosting both events. Funds received from sponsorships are used to purchase t-shirts for registered race participant and sponsors, as well as awards, drinks, snacks, and other incidental expenses. Any additional money from sponsorships will help go toward our fundraising goal of $5000.00 to be given to the Hanover Township Food Pantry.
There are various levels of sponsorship for the Knights Challenge 5K Run/ Walk / Kids Dash and placement of logos on t-shirts and website are based on sponsorship level as show in the following chart:
