A 1-mile, chip-timed course around the school ideal for children of all ages to run with or without a parent. In addition to their race t-shirt, all participants will receive a medal and two mini muffins, courtesy of Big Apple Bagels in Aurora.

Race Information
All registered participants will receive a race-day t-shirt (must register by April 12) and congratulatory medal. The Mini Muffin Mile participants will also receive mini muffins from Big Apple Bagels after the race. Additional snacks and water will also be available to all the runners. In addition, we will also be awarding 1st-3rd place 5K finishers in the following age groups:
Kindergarten * 1st Grade * 2nd Grade * 3rd Grade * 4th Grade * 5th Grade * Middle School (grades 6-8) * High School (grades 9-12) * 20's * 30's * 40's * 50's * 60's * 70's * 80's

Must be registered by April 12, 2024 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
Register early and save as fees increase April 3, 2024. Race registration closes on Saturday, May 4 at 8:00 p.m.
Please note that the race will go on, rain or shine, and no dogs are allowed on school grounds during such events.

Race Course
For the safety of all our participants, the Aurora Police Department has asked us to utilize the sidewalks and bike paths as much as possible on the course. We will have off-duty Officers and plenty of volunteers to guide us. The 5K will start and finish at the school, and travel through neighborhoods surrounding the school. The course is fairly flat, with small downhill slopes and few uphill climbs throughout.
Race Proceeds
This annual event will help fund a busy month of May, with numerous PTO events that include Staff Appreciation Week, 5th Grade Farewell, and Field Day.
