Join us for the annual "Walk or Cycle for Life" event on National Cancer Awareness Day, October 26th! This special event brings together communities, families, and friends to raise awareness and support for those affected by cancer. Whether you choose to walk or cycle, your participation makes a difference.

Event Highlights:

• Opening Ceremony: Kick off the event with inspiring speeches from cancer survivors, healthcare professionals, and local dignitaries.
• Walk or Cycle: Choose between cycling or walking….or both…with routes through the scenic Dubai Business Bay. These routes are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for participants of all ages and fitness levels.
• Wellness Village: Explore booths featuring health screenings, nutrition advice, fitness demonstrations, and information on cancer prevention and treatment.
• Memory Wall: Dedicate a moment to honor and remember loved ones affected by cancer by adding their names or messages to our Memory Wall.
• Entertainment: Enjoy performances and motivational speakers throughout the day.
• Kids Zone: Fun activities for children, including face painting, games, and a kids' walk.
• Refreshments: Healthy snacks and beverages will be provided to keep you energized.

Participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt, water, e-Certificate and participation medal. Proceeds from the event will go towards local cancer research, support programs, and awareness campaigns with Pink Caravan.

TWO SEPARATE EVENTS TO SELECT FROM:

Each walker can choose their distance on the night. Each 5km completed will equate to 10AED of their entry fee being donated to charity. Maximum course length is 20km.

You will walk the Meydan cycle track towards Business Bay, along the Dubai Canal and onto Kite beach before returning to DXBike. You are welcome to exit the track at any point. You do not need to return to DXBike.

The walk is scheduled to start from 8.00pm.

Cyclists can start from 4.00pm. You will cycle the Meydan cycle track. Each cyclist that completes 30 mins of cycling will have 15AED of their entry fee donated to charity and those that complete 1 hour (1) of cycling will have 35AED of their entry fee donated to charity.

You are welcome to cycle any distance or time however the cycle track will be closing at 7.30pm for the Walk event to commence which we welcome and encourage your to join as well!
