Please note that you will cross an international border between two countries during the race. You do not have to stop at the border while running, but you must have a passport or other travel documentation valid for travel in Canada and the USA in order to register and these will be reviewed by border agents at the international bridge on the two days before the race.
As a international event we have two registration sites. This is the Canadian site. The USA site is identical, except that it accepts payment in US dollars not Canadian dollars. If you are Canadian or a resident of Canada you should register on this site. If you are a USA citizen or a USA resident you should register on the USA site. Runners from other countries may register on either site.

To see who else is running or check the total number of runners, please be sure to check both sites and add the numbers from both.
Runners who would like to raise money for charity are encouraged to support our charities the Campobello Island Community Food Bank, organized locally as "the Clothes Line" and Lubec Community Food Bank run by the Lubec Community Outreach Committee (LCOC).
To support our local non-profit charities donate during the registration process or press the donate button on the left side of this page to make a contribution towards helping needy local residents with food and clothing.
Wait-List
Due to high demand and limited capacity, the Wait-List will open once we reach capacity. Register for the Wait-list distance selection and be selected off of it once a spot opens up. Participants will be invoiced for the registration fee and applicable processing fees. Only once the invoice is paid is the spot guaranteed.

Borders and Passports
Runners in the marathon, half-marathon all cross the Canada-USA border multiple times. In order to pre-clear you with the border agencies we need you to provide your passport or other travel document information now. In June you will have to show these documents at both the Canada and USA border crossings in Lubec and Campobello when you pick up your race bib. You will then be waved through the border crossings in the runner lane during the event and will not have to stop.
You will be required to show photo-ID at bib pick-up so we can be sure you are getting the right bib.

Refunds, Deferrals, Transfers
Refunds
This is event follows the running industry standard of no refunds. Participants may purchase registration refund insurance through the registration process or two weeks after registration is complete through Race Roster. Learn More here.
Deferrals
This event is proud to offer deferrals for any reason up until May 1st, 11:59pm ET. Deferrals are defined as transfering your entry from the current year to next year only. Participants can request a deferral by email to info@bayoffundymarathon.com. Participants are responsible for any change in fees from one year to the next and are responsible for requesting next years entry. There is a $5 processing fee.
Transfers
This event allows transfers from one participant to another participant and upgrades/downgrades in event distance.
Transfers to another participant can be done through your race roster account until May 1st, 2025 at 11:59pm ET. There is a $5 process fee.
Upgrade/Downgrade in distance may be completed though your Race Roster account or by email us - info@bayoffundymarathon.com. Participants are responsible for the difference in registration prices. The deadline to complete this is June 21st at 11:59am ET. After May 1st, and up until race weekend you will be issued a generic bib. Meaning you will not receive a custom bib number with your name on it.
