2014 — Veteran's Pride 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run — Race Roster

Father Ryan’s annual Veterans Pride 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will take place Saturday, November 8. The 1 Mile Fun Run will kick-off the festivities at 8:00 a.m. and the 5K will follow at 8:30. Help us salute our active military and veteran heros for all they do to preserve our freedom. To show our thanks, veterans run the 5K for free.

The scenic 5K course starts and finishes at Giacosa Stadium on the Father Ryan campus. This certified course winds through shady, tree-lined streets in the surrounding Oak Hill neighborhood, and is one of the flattest 5K courses you will find in Nashville. Many participants report their fastest time at the Veterans Pride 5K.

The 1 Mile Fun Run course will take place at Father Ryan’s Giacosa Stadium with four laps around the track. This is a great opportunity for families to walk or run for a worthy cause. Strollers are welcome, but please leave pets at home. For everyone’s safety, we ask that individuals with strollers start in the back.

Honor a veteran purchasing an Honor Flag for $5 that will include the name of a veteran in your life or a Father Ryan veteran. The flags will be placed along the course.

Note: Please answer additional questions when purchasing an honor flag under the registration page to ensure their name of the veteran and their military branch will be placed on the flag pole.

Registration, Schedule and Awards

Register by October 20, 2014 to guarantee a t-shirt. Advance registration will end on Wednesday, November 5. Late registration fees are $20 for students, $30 for individuals and $70 per family and will be available during packet pick-up (see times below) or at 7:00 a.m. on race day.
