Our story…

Team Cozart was created two years ago as we were waiting for a call. When we ran that year we had no idea what baby God would be placing in our family. Or when. But, shortly after the race we received 'the call.' In January of 2014 we brought our son, Emmett, home from the hospital. The love, prayers and support we received from Chosen and our community was overwhelming. It was just one example of how beautiful the body of Christ is. We continue to have a relationship with Emmett's birth family and are so thankful for the brave, selfless act of love his birth mom showed when she placed him in our family. The Lord has chosen to grow our family through adoption and we are grateful for that. We have been blessed once by adoption and we have started the process again. God writes some pretty amazing stories. We can't wait to see what He has in store for us next. -Slade, Laura, Wyatt and Emmett
