Here is where Jen is going:
"I’m glad you asked! My dream is to stand atop the podium at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the Canadian flag billowing before me and the national anthem proudly ringing through the stadium. I will have two loving dogs, perhaps rescues from the humane society, and a harp. My house will have an art studio, the walls lined with perfectly organized shelves and work spaces for all my supplies and equipment. I will be a consistent contributor to both esteemed science journals, publishing my illustrations, as well as more widely read publications for my articles summarizing jargon-y research papers in more simpler terms. I will be a master story teller, communicating through a wide range of media, from spoken and written words, to visual arts, to music."
A portion of your race entry fee will be donated to Jen to help with her training for her upcoming meets. We will also be releasing more details on how you can support Jen in her goals to represent Canada so stay tuned.
