For anyone who wants to attend the beer and wine festival, please come prepared to show your official state issued ID. We will not take any other forms of ID! You MUST BE 21 to receive a wrist band. For anyone under 21, we will have non-alcoholic beverages available.
Due to the course being out and back, and due to some portions that are narrow, we ask that you leave your dogs and baby strollers at home. Thank you!
Packet Pick Up
We are currently NOT doing a pre-packet pick up. Why? It's an afternoon race and you will have plenty of time to register! However, things could change and we may decide it is necessary, desired or just makes sense. We will post any changes on this site and email participants accordingly if plans change.
The Start and Finish
The race will begin at the intersection of Bridge & Main Streets and end at The Phoenixville Foundry (2 N. Main St, Phoenixville, PA 19460). See parking information for more details and stay tune for shuttle information! This is also where you will REGISTER on race day!
P.S....Don't forget your official ID if you are over 21 and want to enjoy the post-race beer and wine festival. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided for those under 21.
Course map:
Wine and Beer Festival
Immediately following the race, enjoy the best beers and wines that Chester County has to offer. The Beer and Wine and Festival will be from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. at the Phoenixville Foundry. Enjoy beers, wines or non-alcoholic beverages of your choice, along with select food items. Each runner's bib will come with two beverage tear offs and one food item tear off, and you may purchase additional good directly from the vendors.
Note: All runners over 21 (official photo ID must be presented) will receive a special wrist band that we will place on you upon verification of age. DO NOT REMOVE the wrist band until after the event. We will not re-issue any bands.
Come prepared to buy wine and beer from local breweries and wineries for your enjoyment at home (Note: Beer or wine bottle(s) purchased will not be allowed to be opened/consumed onsite).
***Anyone not running, but joining runners for the festival: You must pre-register and have proper ID available race day to receive a Festival Only wrist band. There will be a $10.00 charge for a non-runner wrist band.
ID Check will close promptly at 2:30 p.m. Anyone wishing to participate in the festival must be through ID check by this time.
NOTE: Event time and location subject to change if needed... why? Because we have crazy weather these days and if it's thundering and lightning, or we get a hail and wind storm that doesn't make it safe to remain outside, or if the venue has an issue that we cannot control, we may have to adjust the event time. This is NOT something we want, predict or expect, but have to state for everyone's safety!
Awards
Awards will be given in the following age categories:
We will have awards for the top overall male/female, and the top three male/female in each age category: Ages 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29,30-39, 40-49,50-59,60-69, 70 plus. The awards ceremony will begin around 2:15pm at The Phoenixville Foundry.
Parking
The Phoenixville Foundry is located at 2 N Main Street in the heart of the historic business district of Phoenixville.
Exclusive parking is available at the Foundry east and west of the main entrance.
Municipal parking (learn more) is available in South lots adjacent to the Foundry and additional spaces south of Bridge Street between Main and Gay Streets.
