Sparky's Challenge 5K/10K

A time-honored ASU tradition, Homecoming brings together students, parents and alumni to celebrate their Sun Devil spirit. The weeklong festivities showcase the Sun Devil spirit through athletic events, fun on- and off-campus activities, and entertainment. Can't make it to this year's event but still want to participate? We are excited to announce our Sparky's Challenge Virtual Race. A virtual race is a race that can be ran at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race. You can run your race at your pace wherever you like. All virtual race participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and custom event dri-fit tech t-shirt. All you have to do is register above and we will mail you your gear after the event!

Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only. If you reside outside of the US and wish to participate please contact StartLine Racing at info@startlineracing.com

• Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups (Race Day Participants only). Our age groups are the following:

• Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Snack" (bagels, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)

• Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google)

• Course set/marked by StartLine Racing to maximize your experience!

• Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 2:30pm at ASU West Campus (map).

  • We accept cash, check, and credit cards (Visa or Master Card) on race day
    

• Cost of registration on race day will be:

  • 5K/10K - Current ASU Faculty, Staff and Students - FREE

  • 5K/10K - ASU Affiliates, Alumni and Community - $15

• We welcome wheelchairs, strollers & wagons.

• No roller blades, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed on the run or walk courses.

• Due to the common start/finish line, there is no bag check for this event.

• No pets will be allowed at this event.

You will have two opportunities to pick-up your race packet (bib, chip, event swag, etc):

• Saturday, October 21st from 2:00 - 5:00pm at Sun Devil Fitness Complex on ASU West Campus (map).

• Sunday, October 22nd starting at 2:30pm at ASU West Campus (race location)
