Rygiel Supports for Community Living

The Rygiel Homes Housing Corporation was incorporated in March, 2001 and currently owns 14 houses.  The Housing Corporation provides safe, affordable and barrier free housing for individuals with disabilities.

Rygiel Supports For Community Living provides services to more than 200  citizens who live with a significant intellectual disability along with a number of physical disabilities. The primary mandate is to provide reasidential services and within this purview, the individual is supported in their home life, and in the social, vocational, spiritual and community domains of his/her life.
Rygiel is a non-profit organization with a vision that states “Every person we support will have a full and meaningful life, which means having a home, relationships of all kinds and a variety of socially valued roles.” To this end, one of the primary goals of the agency has been to ensure that the individuals have affordable, barrier free homes. It formed a sister organization Rygiel Homes Housing Corporation which continues to provide appropriate and adequate housing.
Rygiel provides residential services, respite services and community participation opportunities.
