Dear Family and Friends thank you for visiting my pledge page . For years I have worked out very hard and prided myself on having excellent health . Most recently I found out that I have Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. My form of this heart disease is genetic. So Ryan has a 50% change of getting it. Therefor he needs to be checked on a yearly basis . Many young athletes have died suddenly from this disease . Many times people are unaware they have it . The genetic mutation in the womb causes the heart at some point to become enlarged in many cases such as mine. It causes the obstrution and makes the mitral valve function improperly. Without proper care and making sure that I do not let my heart rate get too high I could have sudden death . This has been a lifestyle change for me . It is also very emotional . Its important that there are defibulators in many places should myself or someone like me have cardiac arrest . Please join me in helping the fight
