5K Run/Walk and Kids Mustache Dash April 30 2017

Come out and support your local firefighters with a little friendly

competition! Glendale Fire Charities is hosting its 2nd Annual 5K Run/ Walk

and kids Mustache Dash at the beautiful Camelback Ranch Spring Training

Facility. This will be a family friendly event so bring the whole crew! There

will be firetrucks and fun for the kids.

They say everyone has a hero and ours are the men and women who served and sacrificed for this country. All proceeds from this event will stay right in Glendale and assist our local heroes--our Veterans. The money raised will allow us as firefighters to directly give back to these individuals with specific needs and repairs in their homes.

Utilizing our firefighter’s selfless hours they give off shift, we would be able to fix broken wheelchair ramps, assist with grab bars for safer living conditions, along with many other tasks around their homes. A small token of our appreciation for those who have fought for our freedom.

Team Registration

We are encouraging teams as well as individual runners! As firefighters we run in crews of four! Sign up with a team of 4 and race together for a team medal. Create a name, dress up, have a blast and enjoy $5 off your entry fee! We have men's, women's and coed team categories available.

To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form! Please make checks payable to StartLine Racing.

  • Age Group Award Medals for Top Three in all Age Groups (5K race participants only)

    • Age groups will be 11 & Under, 12 - 15, 16 - 20, 21 - 30, 31 - 40, 41 - 50, 51-59, and 60 & Over.

  • Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (bagels, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)

  • Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google) (5K Race Participants only)

  • Course set/marked by StartLine Racing to maximize your experience!

Race Day Information

  • Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up will be available beginning at 7:00am at Camelback Ranch Spring Training Facility (race location)

    • We accept cash, check, or credit card (VISA and Master Card only) on race day

  • Cost of registration on race day will be $40 for the 5K for adults and $30 for those under 18.

  • The Kids Dash is free and is only open to children ages 8 and under and is untimed.

  • Stroller friendly but due to the nature of the course, pets are not allowed.
