Help Laura raise money

In 1990, when I was 4 years old, I had my first piano lesson from a wonderful woman named Theresa Swalwell. She was loving, warm, and full of life, and became such a fixture in my life over the following 14 years that I often thought of her as a "bonus" mom. Theresa wasn't just my piano teacher during that time, she was a sounding board for me as I moved through those messy pre-teen and teenage years, and her gentle guidance during that time is something I still carry with me today. In 2002, she was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. She continued to teach for as long as she could, and she kept on sharing her love, light, and joy with us until the August of 2004. I loved Theresa dearly, and I try to carry her positivity with me in everything I do, every day of my life. I run in honor of Theresa, and everyone else's "Theresa" who is missed just as much. I'll be running with a smile on my face for sure, because I rarely saw her without a smile on hers!
