Marathon + Half Marathon
Join us at 7:00am on December 11, 2016 for the 6th year of the highest rated marathon in the state of Texas (marathonguide.com). How satisifed are our runners? 99% of the runners who filled out our post race survey told us they found the organization of our race to be excellent or good. More than 96% said they found the value of our race to be excellent or good. Those numbers don't lie.
You'll have the opportunity to explore the Bryan/College Station community as well as experience the spirit of Aggieland while you run through the Texas A&M campus.
Student Challenge
This year we have added a fun new aspect to the Baylor Scott and White BCS Half Marathon: the Student Challenge! Groups of 4 students will be able to register together for the Half Marathon race in hopes of winning and taking home a prize of $1000. All 4 runners on the team will independently run in the Half Marathon race. The winning team will be the one with the fastest average finish time for all of its runners.
So, students, grab 3 of your friends and join us on October 16th for a shot at winning $1000
Teams in the Student Challenge will be able to register at a flat fee for all 4 runners.
Marathon Relay
In addition to the half and full marathon, we are offering a marathon relay for 4 or 8-person teams. Gather some of your closest friends and/or family and get a taste of the marathon experience. Each member of a 4-person teams runs approximately 6.5 miles of the marathon course, while 8-person team members run about 3.2 miles. Please note each leg will vary slightly.
Corporate Marathon Relay
In addition to the traditional relay, we are also offering for businesses to form 4 or 8-person teams of employees to participate in the marathon relay. Runners will each cover 6.5 miles (4-person) or 3.2 miles (8-person). All members of the corporate relay team MUST work for the same organization. What a great way to promote wellness and camaraderie within your organization!

Course Info
The race courses are fairly flat and fast, and the route includes plenty of shady neighborhoods, several golf courses, and enough crowd support to help you get to the finish for your first time or your fastest time. The marathon course has some rolling hills miles 7–13, but is otherwise mostly flat. The marathon course will also be USAT&F certified and a Boston Marathon qualifying race.
Course Maps
Aid Stations
Aid stations will be every 1.5 miles and include both water and sports drink, and on-course entertainment will include live music.
Course Time Limit
The time limit for completing the marathon is six and a half hours. The course closes on a rolling schedule based on a 15:00 per mile pace (6 hours and 30 minutes total) for both the half and full marathons. The half marathon converges with the full marathon around mile 8, which allows half marathoners extra time to complete the race after that point.
Running Dogs and Strollers are NOT allowed anywhere on the course!!!
Bicycles are NOT allowed anywhere on the course!!!
Race Swag
Our runners consistently tell us that our swag is the best around. In 2015, all runners registered for the marathon and half marathon received a short sleeve technical fabric participant shirt and all race finishers also received a long sleeve technical finisher’s shirt (gender specific) as well as a gorgeous custom finisher’s medal. We also handed each of them a pair of sport headphones. Yes, we're serious. Expect more of the same awesomeness in 2016.
Registered relay runners received a technical fabric participant shirt, head phones, and those who run on race day will receive a custom finisher's medal.
All runners have the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishment at the post-race party immediately after crossing the finish line! You can expect a food and beer spread that beats any large marathon in Texas! All relay participants are eligible to participate in the post race party.
