A Message from Carley MacIntyre

I am an undergraduate student studying Wildlife Biology and Conservation at the University of Guelph. I have the amazing opportunity to travel as a VESA volunteer to South Africa at the beginning of May 2016. During my stay there, I will be working with children in creches and schools to teach basic English and sanitation and hygiene skills. I will be helping update and construct run-down facilities within the community. I will also be working in a conservation area in the rehabilitation, breeding and release program for crocodiles and wildcats. Without volunteers, these programs would not be able to run because they are non-profit and not assigned to a charity. The animals, children and communities of South Africa are desperate for help and with your generosity, you can help me make a difference in their lives.
