Help Chantale raise money

As many of you know, I work for Reach Forth and every year we put on an event called Lynne's Legacy Run. This event is meant to encourage and challenge people to think about the legacy that they are leaving behind and to start living out that legacy now. This year I will be running for a few reasons. One of my best friends Julia is battling ovarian cancer and through my many visits with her through this whole process, I am encouraged by the way she continues to praise God through it all. She continues to set goals for herself and is pressing forward knowing that God still has plans for her and she wants to be faithful in seeing those through. She has without a doubt always been a huge inspiration to me but in the last year that has taken on a whole new meaning. The second reason I will be running is for my friend Karen's husband, Rob Scott. Rob passed away from cancer in January and leaves behind his wife Karen and his 5 year old son Isaac. Karen has mentored me from a very young age, through my teenage years, and still today. As I watched her care for her dieing husband and now taking care of her son on her own, I recognise that she is living to make Rob's legacy known. That Rob was a strong man, both physically and spiritually. That he was a kind and loving father and a wonderful husband. As difficult as it is to watch Karen suffer through this difficult time, I am encouraged by the legacy she is keeping going for her husband. Both these people have encouraged me in different ways to think about my own legacy that I am leaving behind and how I can continue to shape that everyday. My hope is that this small snipet into their lives has done the same for you. What is YOUR legacy
