Raise money for Active in Muskoka
The Muskoka Mud Run is hosted by Active in Muskoka, an organization founded by Andy Zeltkalns and Ellen Yeo. The goal of their organization is to raise funds for charity while promoting an active lifestyle. Over the last three years they have been working with Jeff DeWetering at Morrison’s Meadows to help Community Living South Muskoka develop the trails and facilities at this location.
Due to the efforts of the Mud Run participants, volunteers, and generous sponsors, Active in Muskoka has been able to donate $12 000 to local charities in the past 5 years.
Some of our donations have included: Community Living South Muskoka, Ontario Winter Games, I Challenge Diabetes, Gravenhurst YWCA, Habitat for Humanity, Dara Howell Sports Fund, Dad's of Muskoka, and Smart and Caring Fund of Muskoka.
Active in Muskoka hopes to continue expanding its support for local charity and looks forward to making its’ events even bigger and better.
