Help Gwenda raise money

Two thirds of all deaths in the United States are caused by five major chronic diseases: cancer, chronic cardiovascular disease, lower respiratory disease, diabetes and stroke and African Americans have the highest mortality rate of three of those chronic diseases. I have lost family and friends to one or more of the five chronic diseases and have family and friends currently living with one or more of the five diseases. On Saturday July 23rd I will join Team DST Denver Alumnae in the 2016 Destination Health Walk/Run/Learn event to raise funds and awareness for The Center for African American Health. I have set a fundraising goal during my walk of $200. I am asking family and friends for your support with a monetary pledge of $2. I'm excited because I know your pledge will help me to meet and hopefully exceed my fundraising goal.
