Wakunga is a registered Non Profit Organization dedicated to fundriasing for water harvesting projects for, and obstetrical training of Midwives in rural Kenya. The Director and Founder of Wakunga, Natalie Wright, is a Registered Canadian Midwife but also an avid trail runner and the host of Trails in Motion film Festival - Orillia.
Wakunga, 5 Peaks, Get Out There Magazine and MEC have come together to create an amazing night of entertianment for the local trail running community while fundraising for maternal health care.
