Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
This is the 8th year for Team Ritzenthaler and we are beyond thankful for all of the support we have been given over the years! Mary Jo was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and Lymphoma in 2002 and fought it for 12 years. She was an advocate for research for a cure of Multiple Myeloma, participated in various clinical trials and continued to fight the disease. Sadly she lost her battle in January, 2014 due to bladder cancer.
Because of fundraisers like the MMORE Run/Walk, research for a cure for Multiple Myeloma has been able to continue. Research including clinical trials were always an important part in Mary Jo's search for a cure for this disease and she had the privilege to be part of many. Many thanks to Dr. Hofmeister at the James, we cannot thank you enough! 100% of your donation goes towards finding a cure.
