The Birds and the Bees Race is back and better for 2016. The 8K will be on Saturday, June 11, with proceeds supporting the Newton Arboretum. The race will start from Sunset Park, 110 N 6th Ave E, and will coordinate with other fun, family-friendly fitness events taking place at the park during Newton Fest.
Participants are encouraged to take part in the a costume contest! Awards will be given to individuals who look most like a gardener, a backyard animal, a flower, and whoever is wearing the brightest clothing.
