This team is in memoriam of Mara Van De Rostyne, who passed on April 11 after bravely fighting ovarian cancer for 6 years. Mara loved many things during her life, with her husband Bryan at the top of the list followed closely by their fur babies. But not too far down that list was Doctor Who. For those who know the show, you know that running plays a prominent role in Doctor Who, with The Doctor frequently yelling at his companions to "Run!" The Doctor is also a devoted and caring companion who remembers everyone who has come and gone in his life. That's why I named this team Mara's Doctors. I want everyone who joins the team to invoke that spirit and remember Mara - even if you didn't know her personally, remember that there are tens of thousands of women like here out there "running" every day to beat ovarian cancer. Let's RUN!
