My Story…
Hi!! I am the luckiest counselor in the universe because I get to work with intelligent, resilient, creative, funny and all around AMAZING young people at Huckleberry Youth Programs!! This year I am boothing (not running, cause this chica only power walks:) and cheering for our fantastic kiddos that will be running the Bay Area Human Race!!
Funds raised will go to support essential adolescent services, all of which are under threat given the current political climate:
1) Reproductive and sexual health services
2) Mental health and Substance Use Counseling for uninsured teens and families
3) College access programming for students of color who will be the first generation in their family to go to college, many of whom are without documentation.
