My Story…
Dear Family and Friends,
TODAY! I became a twelve year survivor! I was diagnosed with Stage IIIC metastasized ovarian cancer on May 19, 2005, and expected to live for only two to three years. I am surprised and overwhelmed to be alive twelve years later!
Many of you know that I have been President of the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance (COCA) for the past eight years. It's my life work to help other women prevent or survive ovarian cancer, which is a such a horrible, miserable disease.
