For participating in 4th Annual Seize The Day Walk

My Story…

Our daughter was born at 32 weeks old, we never knew till she was 2 that she was living with cerebral palsy. We knew something was wrong but could never get a stright answer from a doctor I till we moved in 2013. The following year Kassidi had her first seizure well we were at the hospital, we were just leaving and she has a seizure in my arms, that was the beginning. January 1,2014 Kassidi suffered a tonic chronic seizure, it lasted 1 hour 30 minutes before we were able to go to the hospital. Our lives have changed since we found out, we can really travel, we have to have eyes on her at all times and we are always at the edge of our seats waiting for another seizure..... March break 2016 was the last seizure Kassidi had, she's 16 months seizure free at the moment, she's doing great....soon we hope that she will be free for life but that will never stop us from doing these walks and supporting the epilepsy center.
