Course Monitor

Course Monitor Time: 6:30am to 10:30am

Course monitors are located strategically on the course, in accordance with requirements by Park Authorities. Course monitors are asked to check in for their position at the Volunteer Check-In on site. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age; otherwise, volunteer must be accompanied by an adult. Course monitors are asked to have a mobile phone so they can report any needs they encounter. Course monitors will be oriented to their duties by the Course Monitor coordinator(s) and/or Race Director. Course monitors are to wear safety vest at all times they are on duty. Course monitors are the “ears and eyes” of the event coordinators and are to report any possible injuries or trouble they observe during the Run. Course monitors are to stay on corner of designation intersection until all runners have passed.

There will be a sag cyclist on the trail to show the last runner.

Pre Registration Pick-up

Pre Registration Pick-up Time: 6:30am to 11:00am

Registration: Those assisting with registration will be at one of two stations; usually at either preregistration or on-site registration, although you may be asked to float between both areas.

Pre-Registration: In the pre-registration area, volunteers will pull preassigned competitor bib numbers as pre-registered runners arrive. You may also help with T-shirt distribution, refreshments tables for runners so it is ready when they cross the finish line!

On-site Registration: In the on-site registration area, volunteers assist athletes with registration paperwork, computer entry, assigning competitor bib numbers, accepting registration forms and payment.

Race Day Registration

Pre-Registration Pick-up (Already Registered) and Race Day Registration (New) work hand in hand.

Awards Help Time 9:00am to 11:00am

Help in distributing awards to winning participants

Water Station #1

Water Station #1 Time: 7:00am to 11:00am

Water Station #1: Set up the station so that runners can pick up water as they run by.  Cups to be filled, handed out and the garbage cleaned up and bagged for us to pick up after the race.

Water Station #2 Time: 7:00am to 11:00am

T-shirt Distribution

T-shirt Distribution - Time: 7:00am to 11:00am

T-shirt Distribution: Organize shirts in size order and hand out shirts after participants return from their runs.
