Help Wendi raise money

I will be participating in the Kitchener Kids With Cancer Run to raise money in support of POGO (the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario) who provides services for children with cancer and their families. As the parent of a cancer survivor, I can attest to the devastating effects this horrible disease can have not just on the child, but the whole family. POGO provides financial assistance to families, interlink nursing, research into new therapies, and also has satellite clinics in hospitals across Ontario, so that children can receive cancer treatment and medical management closer to home. We were fortunate to have been put in contact with the local branch at Grand River Hospital, where we received exceptional medical care, and incredible emotional and financial support at a time when we needed it the most.
