Raise money for Tri Town Track & Field Project
This year the Rotary is please to support the Tri Town Track & Field Project, the effort to build a all weather track and athletic field for Freeport High School.
What is the project?
A proposed facility consisting of an eight-lane, competition-legal running track. The infield will be an artificial turf playing field, suitable for soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and football. The committee is recommending that Nike Grind be used as the infill material for the artificial turf and the surface of the track. Track and field throwing and jumping events will be held around the perimeter. The plan also includes lights and facilities for the long jump, high jump and polevaulting. If funding permits, bleachers and concessions will be included.
