Help Stephanie raise money

For the 7th year running I am participating in the CHEO BBQ fundraiser. I don’t need any excuses for getting out on the beach court this summer, but if I did this is the best one I can think of! When I was 13 I had the opportunity to spend quite some time at CHEO. My younger sister had just been diagnosed as a Juvenile Type 1 Diabetic and my mom and I came with her to Ottawa to learn all about the disease, how to control it, administer insulin and about nutrition. Although not a place I wish anyone to spend considerable time in, we are very fortunate to have such an amazing facility so close to home. Now that I have a young niece and nephew I am grateful knowing if they ever need the help, medical expertise or facilities provided at CHEO it will be there for them and I can help ensure it stays that way.
