My Story…
Dear Friends,
On Saturday, August 26 I will be biking 100 miles in the Venus de Miles ride for Greenhouse Scholars. Our family has volunteered with this group for several years, and it is has been wonderful to see the effects of their program touch so many young lives. Any amount you donate will be helpful in providing full-ride college scholarships and mentoring to under-resourced students who are truly amazing individuals. Read here for their description:
"Greenhouse Scholars works with a distinct group of relentless leaders who have overcome unimaginable challenges in their young lives such as homelessness, violence, loss, and more. We support them through four years of college and beyond with resources such as one-on-one mentoring, an extensive professional network, internships, peer support, and grants for additional opportunities such as research or service projects, study abroad, etc."
