Run like a Fox or be a Turkey on Thanksgiving Day!

- The Fox and the Turkey Races are a family tradition as we are in our 21st year.
- The races start and finish in downtown Batavia on the beautiful Fox River.
- There is a four mile run and a youth mile run.
- These races are on the Fox River Trail Runners circuit race schedule.
- The four mile race is for any age. The youth mile is for ages 12 years and younger.
- There will be one water stop on the course near the two mile mark.
Prerace packet pick up will be available for those who register by November 20th on Wednesday, November 22nd-12pm-6:30pm. Located at The Homstad, 700 W. Fabyan Pkwy, Batavia. Enter and park off the Fabyan Parkway entrance. MAP
Race day registration and packet pick up is from 6:30am to 8:00am at the Batavia Government Center located at 100 N. Island Ave, Batavia.

Awards
4 Mile: Awards for the overall top THREE male and female winners as well as top THREE male and females in the following age groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34. 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 and over. Overall male and female winners are not eligible for age group awards.
Youth Mile: (Ages 12 and under): Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in these age groups: 0-7, 8-9, 10-12. Award ribbons will be given to all finishers.
Additional Information
Race headquarters is at the Batavia Government Center located at 100 N. Island Ave in Batavia, IL 60510. Batavia is accessible by I-88 exit at Route 31. Go north about 5 miles to Wilson Street in downtown Batavia. Turn right and go 2 blocks down to Island Ave. The Batavia Government Center is located at the intersections of Houston and Island Street.
Note: There are NO deferrals or refunds. Transfers in the same race event are permissible if done by November 20th. Email foxandturkey@foxrivertrailrunners.org for details.
