Raise money for Worcester loves Puerto Rico

Worcester Loves Puerto Rico is a community fundraising effort by residents of the Worcester, MA area to support the rebuilding efforts of Puerto Rico following the impacts of Hurricane Maria on September 20th, 2017.

Many Worcester area residents — like ourselves — have a personal connection with Puerto Rico. Those of us with family and friends in Puerto Rico felt helpless by our inability to contact our loved ones. Rather than simply waiting for word from family and friends, we decided to start raising money for the people of Puerto Rico instead!

Let’s work together to support our mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Puerto Rico now!

Worcester Loves Puerto Rico’s goal is to raise $10,000 or more for United for Puerto Rico. This initiative was brought forth by the First lady of Puerto Rico, Beatriz Rosselló in collaboration with the private sector, with the purpose of providing aid and support to those affected in Puerto Rico by the passage of Hurricane Irma and Hurricane María.
