My Story…
The beginning of 2017 has brought a fourth relapse with Marlows' cancer and more time spent at Sick Kids then we had hoped. There is not a day we spend at Sick Kids Hospital without being greeted by warm OOCH friends, smiles and adventures. OOCH staff and volunteers bring a warmth and glow to our time spent in hospital, a time that can otherwise be dull and difficult.
This time with OOCH is recognized and encouraged by the entire medical team. They view time with OOCH as an important aspect to Marlow"s care and healing. This support is unconventional and unique. Her medical team and nursing staff routinely work around OOCH events to ensure her attendence.
I run for Camp OOCH as my pledge to help them continue their amazing journey to make my daughter and her friends better despite the difficult road they must walk as children with cancer. Camp OOCHigeas has become our friend and family over the last 4 years. I guess some would say, I wish we had never met OOCH, but I know that our life will forever be changed because of them and forever better with them in it.
I have always considered OOCH to be our shining star during a very dark night. Please help me to support them and continue the magic of OOCH.

Help send kids affected by cancer to Camp Ooch!
Camp Oochigeas (Ooch) provides children with and affected by childhood cancer with what they need most – the chance to be a kid. Ooch is the only residential camp in Ontario to offer on-site IV chemotherapy and blood transfusions providing access to campers in active treatment the friendship and fun of Camp. Operating 365 days a year, Ooch offers programs at a residential camp in Muskoka, at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), three other regional cancer centres and at Ooch Downtown in the heart of Toronto.
As a registered charity that receives no government funding, Ooch relies exclusively on the generous support of fundraisers, individual and corporate donors like you.
