My Story…
This is my first time running the 10K - or any 10K, but I look forward to being a very small part in a very big and wonderful initiative.
This run is close to my heart, and I look forward to finally participating. My dear cousin Daniel had the wonderful opportunity of going to Camp Ooch and had a great time - as a kid who went to camp myself I know the value of experiencing the independence, freedom and fun that it allows, and for kids like my cousin Daniel I think this is especially true.
Sadly, Dan lost his battle with cancer on May 18, 2016, but I will be running along side his mom as we celebrate his life and help other kids like him experience the joy that Camp Ooch can bring.
I would appreciate any donation amount you are able to provide to help these brave kids have an experience all children should be afforded.

Help send kids affected by cancer to Camp Ooch!
Camp Oochigeas (Ooch) provides children with and affected by childhood cancer with what they need most – the chance to be a kid. Ooch is the only residential camp in Ontario to offer on-site IV chemotherapy and blood transfusions providing access to campers in active treatment the friendship and fun of Camp. Operating 365 days a year, Ooch offers programs at a residential camp in Muskoka, at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), three other regional cancer centres and at Ooch Downtown in the heart of Toronto.
As a registered charity that receives no government funding, Ooch relies exclusively on the generous support of fundraisers, individual and corporate donors like you.
