My Story…
My nephew, Tanner Larkin, attended Camp Ooch 20 years ago. Camp Ooch was a lot smaller back then, but it was still a haven of happiness and laughter during a very difficult time.
20 years later Camp Ooch has grown to support kids with cancer, not only at camp, but downtown and in the hospital.
Another Mother's Day marks another day for me to make a difference for a child with cancer, by running the Sporting Life 10K and fundraising for Camp Ooch.
I cannot find anything more rewarding than giving to a mother whose child has cancer, the gift of their child smiling and laughing because of Camp Ooch.
I am hoping that you will be able to support Team 8B BMT with a donation of any amount. Even the smallest amount can make the biggest difference to a child with cancer.

Help send kids affected by cancer to Camp Ooch!
Camp Oochigeas (Ooch) provides children with and affected by childhood cancer with what they need most – the chance to be a kid. Ooch is the only residential camp in Ontario to offer on-site IV chemotherapy and blood transfusions providing access to campers in active treatment the friendship and fun of Camp. Operating 365 days a year, Ooch offers programs at a residential camp in Muskoka, at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), three other regional cancer centres and at Ooch Downtown in the heart of Toronto.
As a registered charity that receives no government funding, Ooch relies exclusively on the generous support of fundraisers, individual and corporate donors like you.
