My Story…

8 years ago I began smoking at the age of 16 and clearly began to take life for granted. My body was still developing, growing and my mind still expanding - but rather I was selfish and inhaled toxins rather than allow for the healthy development of my own self. Today, March 18th, will mark my first day smoke free in many years and I'm dedicating my next few weeks of habbit smashing to the young children in need of our assistance who have been granted less fortune than most of us. I'll train vigirously for the next 8 weeks to begin to balance out the 8 years of diservice I did to my body. So, please join me on my journey and help me send a child with Cancer to Camp Ooch for a full 8 days. Because we know one is never enough...

Help send kids affected by cancer to Camp Ooch!

Camp Oochigeas (Ooch) provides children with and affected by childhood cancer with what they need most – the chance to be a kid. Ooch is the only residential camp in Ontario to offer on-site IV chemotherapy and blood transfusions providing access to campers in active treatment the friendship and fun of Camp. Operating 365 days a year, Ooch offers programs at a residential camp in Muskoka, at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), three other regional cancer centres and at Ooch Downtown in the heart of Toronto.

As a registered charity that receives no government funding, Ooch relies exclusively on the generous support of fundraisers, individual and corporate donors like you.
