My Story…
Camp Ooch provides a unique experience for children affected by cancer. It provides children forced to deal with subject matter far beyond their years to have experiences that allow them to just be kids again. It's a place where cancer is the common ground, and therefore kids can start to re-define and rediscover themselves beyond their illness. There is truly no way to put what Ooch is like into words, except perhaps by calling it Magic.
I was fortunate enough to experience this magic for 9 years as a camper, and am returning for a 3rd year as a volunteer this summer. I'm also very fortunate that my family has had the chance to get a taste of the Ooch magic, and I'm incredibly excited to be volunteering this summer with my Mom for the first time.
We are so very gratified by the support of our friends and family for this event each year. Ooch changes these children's lives, and it's because of generous donors and volunteers that all this is possible. Thank you!

Help send kids affected by cancer to Camp Ooch!
Camp Oochigeas (Ooch) provides children with and affected by childhood cancer with what they need most – the chance to be a kid. Ooch is the only residential camp in Ontario to offer on-site IV chemotherapy and blood transfusions providing access to campers in active treatment the friendship and fun of Camp. Operating 365 days a year, Ooch offers programs at a residential camp in Muskoka, at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), three other regional cancer centres and at Ooch Downtown in the heart of Toronto.
As a registered charity that receives no government funding, Ooch relies exclusively on the generous support of fundraisers, individual and corporate donors like you.
