Antonio was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in January 2014th at the age of 4. We knew from that moment that our lives would change forever. What we didn't know was how many people we would have by our side going through this most challenging time or how many great opportunities would come our way. One of them would be Camp Ooch. Ooch had such an impact on Antonio during this most difficult time of his life. Since being a part of the Ooch family, Antonio has feelings of love, joy and happiness again and is blessed to have these amazing experiences. Not to mention, he is part of a community where everyone understands what the other is going through. Ooch is not only a summer camp, it's 365 days of fun. It gives children the opportunity to explore enriching, challenging, fun experiences no matter how debilitating their illness is, through what is often referred to today as the Magic of Ooch. Because of generous donations, kids like Antonio are able to participate in activities hosted by Ooch such as: In Hospital, In City, Day Camp as well as Overnight Camp activities. Camp Ooch showcases bravery, builds confidence, fosters friendships and most importantly, it provides each and every child affected with Cancer an opportunity to be a child again. It's often said it's not what you can't do, it's everything you can do at Camp. We are so grateful for all the volunteers and wonderful people who make Camp Ooch the extraordinary place it is.
