We (Jake, Maija, and Maxwell) are excited to grow our family through adoption and welcome a child to forever be a part of our family in this special way! I have felt called to adoption since learning of the great need for families to adopt both in the United States and internationally. I was especially impacted by my trip to Honduras in high school to serve at an orphanage, developing an understanding of how important it was for children there to have loving families surround them and bring them up in the teaching of the Lord.
