Mermaid returns to San Diego's Mission Bay for a scenic women's 5k, 10k, and half marathon.

Mermaid Dash
The Mermaid Dash is a great way to introduce girls to running and walking. The fun run/walk allows girls to participate and experience the joy of crossing the finish line in a safe and supportive environment. Mermaid Dashers receive a medal, finisher necklace and post race food. Parents are encouraged to let Mermaid Dashers run on their own, however a parent or guardian is welcome to run alongside young or shy Mermaid Dashers.

CREDIT POLICY
Can't attend one of our events?
We will be happy to issue you a credit toward a future Mermaid Series event. To receive a credit, you must email us at info@mermaidseries.com a minimum of 10 days before the event date. We will email you back a confirmation along with the total amount of your future race credit. Please keep the confirmation email for your records. Credits are good through the following calendar year. Credits are nontransferable.
The following credits will be issued:
• Duathlon - Entry fee minus $10 processing fee
• Triathlons - Entry fee minus $10 processing fee
• Run - Entry fee minus $10 processing fee.
Directions and Accommodation
DIRECTIONS
Event parking will be near the start line at the Rose Marie Starns / South Shores Parking Lot. Participants and spectators coming from I-5 should exit on Sea World Drive / Tecolote Road to get to South Shores Park. The lot is first come, first serve. Once the lot is full, you'll be directed to park at the Sunrunner Parking Lot or along Old SeaWorld Dr. Please make sure to park off the street and not over the white line. All the parking lots can be accessed from Sea World Dr. Do NOT take the Clairemont Dr exit or the Balboa Ave/Garnet Ave exit off of Highway 5.
NOTE: The finish is located approximately 1 mile away at Tecolote Shores. After the event, walk along the paved path to return to the South Shores Parking Lot.
